Julia Cordes

JULIA CORDES is excited to be a part of the inaugural River City Rhythm Winds staff, taking on the roles of Assistant Director and Visual Caption Head. 

Julia is from Rochester, MN, and is a St. Olaf College graduate. She started her marching arts career with the Rochester Lourdes Marching Band and Rochester Lourdes Indoor Drumline. She then went on to march baritone with RCR Drum and Bugle Corps and euphonium at Phantom Regiment. She has spent several years as an instructor for the Rochester Lourdes Marching Band and has been a member of the RCR outdoor staff for the past two summers. Julia served as visual caption head for the 2024 RCR drum and bugle corps. 

Outside of the marching arts, Julia is a statistical programmer and a diving coach. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. 

Julia is excited to continue supporting the growth of River City Rhythm and cannot wait to see what the inaugural winds group accomplishes this season!
