Jon Su

JON SU started his experience in the marching arts in 2005 marching mellophone with his high school program in Cinncinnati, OH. After marching winterguard his senior year in 2007, he went on to march with Juxtaposition Winterguard in 2009 where they received the bronze medal in Independent Open Class at the WGI World Championships. Jon has a long history of performing in, teaching, and growing organizations across the Minnesota area, including multiple seasons with Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps, MBI winterguard (2016 WGI IA finalist, 2017 WGI IA Silver medalist), Park Center High School, Eclipse Winterguard,  and Minnetonka High School (2016 Class AA State Champions).  

Since 2019, Jon has been working with Lakeville South High School Band and Winterguard (2021 Class A State Champion, 2022 & 2023 Class AA State Champion, WGI Omaha IA & IRA Regional Champion).  Jon is excited to be joining the River City Rhythm design staff and hopes to continue its legacy of excellence through the culture for RCR's core values: collaboration, innovation, and growth
