Grant Goulson

GRANT GOULSON is a Minneapolis based Music Educator, Arranger and Performer who currently serves as the director of middle school bands and department head for Tri-City United Public Schools, and is thrilled to join the River City Rhythm Winds staff for their inaugural season!

In 2021, Grant received his BM in Music Education from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, where he served as the Bulldog Marching Band's Trombone/Baritone Section Leader, the group's Winds Captain, and on the Athletic Band's Officer Body.

Alongside his responsibilities with Tri-City United, Grant is an active marching arts educator, and consultant and has performed worked with various ensembles including the Montevideo Marching Band, River City Rhythm drum and bugle corps, and currently serves as an arranger & instructor with the Champlin Park High School marching rebels in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

When not teaching, Grant enjoys watching basketball, performing as a brass and piano player around the Twin Cities, and spending time in the northwoods and on the north shore of Minnesota.
