Lauren Emerson

LAUREN EMERSON hails from Sandwich, Illinois where she was first introduced to the marching arts as a member of the MACBDA summer performance circuit. She has performed in various ensembles including the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps ('13-'16) and Minnesota Brass SoundSport ('24), serving as both a color guard captain and member. 

Since 2014, Lauren has taught color guard in both Illinois and Minnesota. In Illinois, she was color guard caption head at Sandwich High School, leading both the fall marching band and winter guard seasons. After moving to Minnesota in 2021, she joined the 728 Cadets summer and winter guard programs and currently serves as the color guard caption head for the 2024 fall season at Champlin Park High School.

In addition to her extensive experience in color guard education, she has choreographed for Pi Percussion. Beyond the marching arts, Lauren is passionate about teaching and currently works as a science educator in St. Paul, Minnesota.
